Felt lighter after clearing the morning inbox. The product review was easier once the launch note had an owner, and I ended the day with a short walk instead of carrying the whole list into dinner.
A quieter evening than expected. Cooked something simple, answered the thread I had been avoiding, and wrote down the few things I want to make easier tomorrow.
Quick note from a slow afternoon: the best part of the day was having nowhere urgent to be. I want more Saturdays with that kind of room around them.
Added a faster way to journal. It feels good to have a small place for the thought before it turns into another task.
Paid quarterly estimated taxes and finally moved the receipt into the right folder. Small bit of order, disproportionate amount of relief.
Made real progress on the Mac app today. The shape of it is getting clearer: less of a dashboard, more of a place that quietly remembers what matters.
Long call with an old friend. We covered work, travel, and the strange way a few months can feel both packed and blurry until you say them out loud.
Demo day went better than I expected. The feedback was specific, kind, and useful, which is the rarest combination.
Busy weekend, but the good kind. The house stayed a little messy and everyone seemed happier for it.

Every meeting surfaces the right notes, recent context, and open questions already compiled.
Capture a thought before it disappears, then let Patina organize it into your plain-text journal.
Find the note, thread, person, file, or memory without remembering where it lives.
Patina automatically creates a summary of what happened each day across all your connected apps.
All your content lives as local files you control. Nothing is stored on our servers.
Because Patina securely syncs your personal context locally to a folder on your Mac, it can answer questions that other tools can’t.

Use our monthly subscription or bring your own Anthropic or OpenAI account for lifetime access.
The core Patina subscription for everyday briefings, dashboard checks, and lighter chat.
More included usage for heavier chat, richer context pulls, and more frequent automations.
Pay once for Patina and use your own Anthropic or OpenAI sign-in or API key.
Subscription and lifetime spots open gradually. Message counts are rough included-use targets, not hard guarantees, and may adjust as model costs change.
We are opening seats weekly.
Patina lives on your Mac. When you ask a question, it pulls fresh context from your connected apps for that request. Your scheduled automations (like a morning briefing or evening digest) refresh things on their own cadence, even when the app isn't open, as long as the Mac is awake.
That's why Patina asks you to keep your Mac awake and plugged in. If it goes to sleep, scheduled runs pause until it wakes, and the iOS companion can't reach it. To prevent sleep, open System Settings, choose Battery, click the "Power Adapter" tab, and set "Turn display off after" to Never. Desktop Macs handle this automatically; on a laptop you'll want the lid open or an external display connected.
The iOS app is a companion to the Mac app. It gives you quick access to your Patina on the go, whether you're asking a question, logging a thought, or checking your morning briefing.
Your data and integrations live on your Mac. The iOS app reaches them through Tailscale, a zero-config private network that lets your devices talk directly to each other as if they were on the same Wi-Fi. Nothing you say to Patina is routed through our servers. Your phone talks to your Mac, full stop.
Setup takes about a minute: install Tailscale on both devices, sign in with the same account, and Patina finds your Mac automatically.
Your files, messages, and journal live on your own devices and sync through your private iCloud. Patina doesn't store any of it on our servers. When Patina needs to think, it sends only the context required for the task to your AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI), which by default don't train on API inputs or outputs. Requests may be retained briefly by the provider for abuse monitoring.
Patina connects to the apps and services your life already runs through. New integrations ship every few weeks.

Custom MCP serversPatina Basic ($30/month) includes the core widgets, automations, app connections, and roughly 500 messages per month. Best if you want Patina for daily briefings, dashboard checks, and lighter chat.
Patina Pro ($60/month) includes more AI usage, roughly 2,000 messages per month, plus priority access to new widgets, skills, and integrations. Best if you expect Patina to handle heavier daily work.
Lifetime License ($99 one-time) lets you use your own Anthropic or OpenAI sign-in or API key. Best if you want direct control over models, usage limits, and provider billing.
Only if you go with the $99 Lifetime License. Patina Basic and Patina Pro handle AI billing for you, with included usage under the plan's fair-use limits.
Your journal, digests, goals, and people notes are always available offline. They're just Markdown files on your device. AI responses require a connection to your provider.
There's nothing to export. Everything Patina generates is stored as plain Markdown in your iCloud Drive. Open it in any editor, back it up like any other folder, take it with you whenever you want.
Your files are always yours. They live as plain Markdown in your iCloud Drive, so you can open them in any editor, back them up, or take them with you.
On the $99 Lifetime License, nothing changes if you stop. The app keeps working with your own API key for as long as you want to run it. On Basic or Pro, canceling pauses app access, but the files and conversations Patina generated stay in your iCloud folder either way.
